As Telstra's Creative Director of Creative & Production, I am responsible for our creative growth, strategy, and culture.

With a team of 8 talented individuals, we push boundaries and captivate audiences. I lead the charge in Creative Direction, creative strategy and production, ensuring our campaigns align with our brand vision across social and internal channels. By driving change and achieving ambitious targets, we maintain a positive reputation and brand love.

Creative Excellence and Problem Solving are fostered by equipping our team with tools and techniques for innovative thinking and unique solutions. Building strong relationships with creative, literary, and talent agencies is crucial for fruitful collaborations. Collaboration and respect are key to our success.

Through optimized processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness, I am always seeking new ways to stay ahead of the curve. As Brand Guardian, I convert brand guidelines into engaging social media assets and communication playbooks for our teams, ensuring consistent brand tone.

I actively nurture talent through coaching and mentoring, empowering our comms, creatives, and strategists to thrive. Our reputation has attracted top-tier creative talent.

As Creative and Content Director at Now We Collide, I led a talented team, delivering brand campaigns across multiple mediums.

We were a fiercely ambitious start-up agency, of which I was proud to lead the transforming of our teams into a creative & production powerhouse, saving time and money by streamlining services and positioning ourselves for unparalleled client satisfaction.

Wearing many hats – Creative Director, Senior Creative, and Executive Producer – I lead seamless collaborations with agency partners and brands' marketing teams. Together, we developed successful campaigns which we executed in-house - locally and internationally. Trust and genuine connections I fostered with partners and agencies became our calling cards, establishing us as the go-to vendor and partner.

Creatively directing art directors & copywriters, I contributed to the success of our work as CCD, and I had a knack for spotting operational gaps within the agency, driving strategic changes to optimize team structures and workflows.

Over the course of my career, I've proudly joined forces with big brands like Oppo, Facebook, ESPN, Obela, Chang Beer, Nivea, Princess Cruises, Carlton Draught, Western Star, and Disney.

To bring these projects to life, I've teamed up with heavyweight agencies: OMD, Iris Worldwide, Nine Digital, MediaCom, MBA, 7 AFS, and Yes Agency. Together, we've done some fun stuff.

AGENCY

At Foxtel Music Channels, I rapidly climbed the ranks from Creative Coordinator to Associate Creative Director.

I gained a wide range of experience and expertise, developing, directing, and producing promotional campaigns, TV shows, and artist and celebrity interviews and original shows for Music TV and festivals. I also played a key role in launching channels, such as Smooth, handling everything from brand identity to collaborating with marketing for a successful launch featuring Alicia Keys.

This experience was a baptism of fire early in my career, where I led creative teams, managed crews, directed large-scale shoots, and pitched marketing ideas for national stunts. It provided me with invaluable skills in influencing others, whether it was through pitching, interviewing, or collaborating with industry giants and established artists.

In this environment, we had unparalleled creative freedom and were involved in every aspect, which expanded my skill set in copywriting, editing, directing, and team leadership. My journey as an international judge for Promax started here, as well as being the winner of Golds, silvers nationally, and Bronze internationally. I had the privilege of working with legendary talents like Robbie Williams, Jack White, Oasis, Foo Fighters, Blur, and many others, shaping my professional trajectory in transformative ways.

TELEVISION

Travelling, making films, music videos, working in Reality TV, and studying advertising in London were just a few things I did during this time.

Advertising has long since been a passion of mine. I love what it can do for a brand, but more so what it does to people. So, when the chance for me to study the subject at London Central St. Martin College of Art & Design arose, I jumped at it. My tutor, Pete Matthews, called out my rare awareness of the subject, and that my talent and ambition will serve me well. And it has. If you have made it this far through the walls of copy I have laid before you (sorry), then you will have seen the breadth & depth of my experience. I am a jack of all creative trades, and a master of some.

A reflection if I may; It’s hard to reconcile boxing 20 years of experience in to 4 paragraphed sections. But here it is. I hope you enjoyed getting to know more about me. Here’s hoping you like my work too.
